Hi all,

Need some help here to understand the differences between Widevine Modular
and Widevine Classic DRM.

I'm working on Android 4.4 and wondering if both schemes need to be
supported? Or only Modular?

What is "libwvdrmengine.so" and "libwvm.so"? This looks related to WV
Modular and WV Classic, but can someone confirm this?

Thanks and Regards!

Cheel,

You need to send a support ticket off to
http://www.widevine.com/contact.html to get an exact answer on the
differences between modular and classic. Those two libs are the core and
engine libraries and do not represent the full set of libraries needed to
support Widevine.
